Try nail polish remover. I would try the non acetone first!!!
nail polish remover?
Use nail polish remover
You will have to use nail polish remover or acetone. It might dull the surface a bit but you should be able to put wax on it and make it shine.
You can safely use nail polish remover, or acetone (in the paint department of most stores) if you are talking about CERAMIC or CLAY tile. (If the 'hard' tile has a sealer, or finish on it, you will probably have to redo it.)

If this is VINYL tile you are talking about... then you need to put the remover (or acetone) onto a rag - just enough to dampen it - and IMMEDIATELY flush the area you wiped with water (a very wet rag would work). Dry it, then repeat as necessary. The goal is to remove the nail polish... not ruin the vinyl. By using only the minimum amount of stripper, and immediately rinsing it, you should be able to do it without damaging vinyl.

Good Luck
did you try nail polish remover? that should take it right off %26amp; tile is tough enough to take it.
Try one of those all purpose cleaners like Ooops! They will remove anything. Sometimes WD-40 will work, too.
use accetone or orange oil ,buy the orange oil in home depot and the accetone in ABC or drugmart
i agree i'd use some nail polish on a cotton ball scrub a little than wash off left overs
Nail Polish Remover works.
